Job Title: Kitchen Porter Assistant
Location: Dalton Barracks, Abingdon
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Porter Assistant. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety
- Collaborate with chefs and catering teams to ensure efficient kitchen operations and smooth service delivery
- Conduct regular checks on kitchen equipment to report any faults or maintenance needs to your line manager
- Assist with inventory management, including deliveries, stock replenishment, and rotation
- Ensure timely and safe disposal of waste
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation
- Excellent personal and environmental safety awareness
- Ability to learn new skills and adapt to changing situations
- No prior work experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow with our team
