About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Methodist Homes. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, enabling them to live life to the fullest.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of care assistants to deliver high-quality care and support.
  • Support residents with their personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Assist residents with daily activities, such as meals, exercise, and social events.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and medication.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of an NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience of leading and motivating a team in a care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A kind, warm, and caring nature, with a patient and empathetic approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
