About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Youth Care Leader - Service Excellence to join our team at Penkhull, Stoke-On-Trent. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for young people aged 8-18.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. To ensure the physical, emotional, and social needs of our young people are met, promoting their independence and well-being.
  2. To develop and maintain positive relationships with our young people, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
  3. To contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that each young person receives tailored support to achieve their goals.
  4. To work collaboratively with colleagues to create a stimulating and engaging environment, promoting opportunities for learning, growth, and fun.

Requirements:

  • A passion for working with young people and a commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, colleagues, and external agencies.
  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our service users.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a residential care setting or related field, with a proven track record of delivering excellent outcomes for young people.
  • A willingness to undergo enhanced DBS checks and provide references covering the past two years.
