About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Support Worker to join our team at We Are With You. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting young people who are experiencing difficulties with substance misuse and mental health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one and group support to young people, helping them to access their needs and develop care plans.
  • Deliver a range of treatments and refer young people to specialist support services when needed.
  • Engage with young people to provide them with the support, training, and education they need to navigate the challenges they face.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to safeguard young people and their families.

Requirements
  • ONC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working with young people in a 1:1 or group setting.
  • Experience of working with young people with substance misuse and/or mental health difficulties.
  • Excellent relationship building skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage your time effectively.
