Job Title: Youth Worker

Are you passionate about working with children and young people with challenging behaviour? Do you have experience in supporting individuals with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to join our team at Academics.

About the Role:

As a Youth Worker, you will be working in schools across Staffordshire, Cheshire, Stoke on Trent, and Newcastle under Lyme. Your role will involve providing pastoral support to students, helping them to manage their behaviours, regulate their emotions, and engage with the school day. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that students receive the best possible support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEMH, autism, ADHD, or other disabilities and needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote happiness, self-reliance, and positive interactions
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure student success
