Autism Specialist Support Role

We are currently recruiting an Autism Specialist to work in mainstream primary schools. The successful candidate will be working with students who have been identified as having moderate learning difficulties and autism on a 1:1 and small group basis.

About the Role:
  1. Participate in the evaluation, recording, and reporting of child development, progress, and achievements.
  2. Attend school meetings as requested by management and fellow teachers.
  3. Encourage the implementation of behavioral intervention programs for students with special needs, developmental delays, or autism.
  4. Collaborate with experts as needed to support children with special needs.
Key Requirements:
  1. Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willing to obtain one).
  2. Passion for assisting young people with special needs.
  3. Valid UK work visa.
  4. Exceptional Needs (SEN) expertise, preferably with experience in SEMH and severe learning challenges.
