We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join Aspire People in Leicestershire. This rewarding role involves supporting children with special educational needs, ensuring their emotional, physical, and academic development in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

As part of this role, you will provide personal care to students, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing are always maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide one-to-one or group support to students with special educational needs.
  2. Assist with personal care tasks, including toileting, feeding, and dressing, where required.
  3. Support students in their learning, helping to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  4. Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to support student progress.
About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  1. Experienced in personal care: Previous experience working with children or young people requiring personal care is essential.
  2. Flexible and proactive: Willing to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive school environment.

**Competitive Salary:** £20,000 - £25,000 per annum based on experience.

**Long-term Contract:** The opportunity to work in a school with a strong community presence, with the option to extend or terminate as needed.

**DBS Check:** Willingness to undertake a DBS check through Aspire People.
