About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Support Manager to join our Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Directorate. As a key member of our Business Operations team, you will provide administrative support to our Senior Leadership Team, ensuring the smooth operation of our business.

Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating meeting logistics, managing diaries, and administering meeting minutes. You will also be responsible for coordinating input for commission requests, including Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, briefings, submissions, and presentation packs.

In addition, you will provide ad hoc cover for other Business Support Managers and support team initiatives to drive service improvement, efficiency, and process or system/record improvements.

You will be required to build and maintain stakeholder relationships across DDaT and the department, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fulfilling secretariat responsibilities for the Senior Leadership Team
  • Coordinating input for commission requests
  • Administering Senior Leadership Team meeting and diary management needs
  • Providing ad hoc cover for other Business Support Managers
  • Supporting team initiatives to drive service improvement
