HR & Payroll Specialist

Blair West is supporting a North East business in their search for a skilled HR and Payroll professional.
This role would suit someone looking to develop their career in Human Resources, with opportunities to learn and grow within the organization.
The key responsibilities include:
- Processing payroll for employees on a monthly basis
- Reconciling payroll with Sage 50 accounting software
- Maintaining confidential HR records and updating staff files
- Administering rewards programs for long-serving employees
- Updating HMRC documentation and ensuring compliance
- Developing new starter packs and onboarding processes
- Providing support with recruitment and hiring efforts
- Assisting with the administration of company policies and procedures
We are seeking an individual with:
- Previous experience in HR administration
- Payroll experience with Sage 50, or willingness to learn
- Strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
