Operations Director - Growth Strategy

YorkSalary: £65,000 - £75,000 plus benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the Operations function, ensuring seamless execution of business processes.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain adherence to the Operations budget, identifying opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Lead the service delivery team by managing conflicts, resolving technical issues, and ensuring efficient execution of team processes and tasks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance processes and procedures to optimize business performance.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to drive efficiency improvements and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing team to meet the evolving needs of the business through strategic hiring, training, development, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

Ideal Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working in industrial/manufacturing environments is highly desirable,
  • Strong leadership and people management skills,
  • Experience of implementing and developing KPIs,
  • Experience managing 'field-based' employees ideal,
