About the Role

Ramsay Health Care UK Operations Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team as a Senior Clinical Fellow. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to gain valuable experience and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work at a senior middle grade level with appropriate levels of supervision from named senior Consultant specialist surgeons undertaking high volumes of Orthopaedic procedures.
  • Undertake a range of Orthopaedic procedures, including soft tissue and arthroplasty knee surgery, and primary and revision hip surgery.
  • Participate in the established research programmes and contribute to the development of new treatments and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and improve patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical governance and audit processes to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Requirements
  • Current GMC registration.
  • Completion of or working towards FRCS (Tr and Orth) or equivalent.
  • Intermediate Life Support certification.
  • Competent with basic primary total hip & knee replacement & basic arthroscopic knee surgery.
  • 6 years' postgraduate training with at least 5 years' in a relevant specialty training programme or equivalent experience and competencies.
  • 3 years' substantive experience above ST3 level in Trauma & Orthopaedics.
