About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Specialist Surgeon to join our team at Ramsay Health Care UK Operations Limited. As a Senior Orthopaedic Fellow, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our orthopaedic services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake high volumes of Orthopaedic procedures with appropriate levels of supervision from senior Consultant specialist surgeons.
  • Participate in established research programmes and contribute to the development of new treatments and technologies.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes and improve patient satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development of our orthopaedic services, including the design and implementation of new procedures and protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our quality improvement strategy.
Requirements
  • Current GMC registration.
  • Completion of or working towards FRCS (Tr and Orth) or equivalent.
  • Intermediate Life Support.
  • Competent with basic primary total hip & knee replacement & basic arthroscopic knee surgery.
  • 6 years' postgraduate training with at least 5 years' in a relevant specialty training programme or equivalent experience and competencies.
  • 3 years' substantive experience above ST3 level in Trauma & Orthopaedics.
