Job Description

As a Rigger at PJD Mechanical Engineering Ltd, you will be responsible for the execution of rigging / lifting duties through developing lifting plans, inspecting lifting equipment, and carrying out risk assessments. The role aims to ensure the safe and efficient completion of tasks to the highest of quality while supporting the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing lifting plans and inspecting lifting equipment
  • Carrying out risk assessments to ensure safe and efficient task completion
  • Supporting the company in achieving its goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Trade qualification - time served L3 NVQ or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a site environment
  • ECITB CCNSG Confined Space Medium Risk (training may be available if required and time permits)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • AP desired but not essential
