Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rigger/Signaller to join our team at PJD Mechanical Engineering Ltd. As a Rigger/Signaller, you will be responsible for the execution of rigging and lifting duties, including developing lifting plans, inspecting lifting equipment, and carrying out risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safe and efficient lifting plans
• Inspect lifting equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the safe and efficient completion of tasks
• Support the company's overall objectives and schedule

Requirements

• Confined Space Medium Risk (training may be available if required and time permits)
• Full UK driving licence
• Travel will be expected as required across the UK for varying periods
• 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
• Up to 7% pension contribution

Working Environment

This is a full-time site-based role covering the whole of the UK, primarily servicing industrial power plants. Energy from Waste is a key area of focus for our company.
