Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Rigger to join our team at PJD Mechanical Engineering Ltd. As a Rigger, you will be responsible for the execution of rigging and lifting duties, including developing lifting plans, inspecting lifting equipment, and conducting risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safe and efficient lifting plans
- Inspect and maintain lifting equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the safe and efficient completion of tasks
Requirements
- Trade qualification in a relevant field (e.g. mechanical engineering, construction)
- Proven experience in a site environment
- ECITB CCNSG certification
- Confined Space Medium Risk certification (training may be available if required)
- Full UK driving license
- AP desired but not essential
