Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rigger to join our team at PJD Mechanical Engineering Ltd. As a Rigger, you will be responsible for the execution of rigging / lifting duties, including developing lifting plans, inspecting lifting equipment, and carrying out risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safe and efficient lifting plans
• Inspect lifting equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth execution of tasks
• Support the company's overall objectives and schedule

Requirements

• Confined Space Medium Risk certification (training may be available if required)
• Full UK driving license
• Ability to travel across the UK for varying periods
• 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
• Up to 7% pension contribution

Working Environment

This is a full-time site-based role covering the whole of the UK, primarily servicing industrial power plants. Energy from Waste is a key area of focus for our company.
