Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Rigger/Signaller to join our team at PJD Mechanical Engineering Ltd. As a Rigger/Signaller, you will be responsible for the execution of rigging and lifting duties, including developing lifting plans, inspecting lifting equipment, and carrying out risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safe and efficient lifting plans
- Inspect lifting equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the safe and efficient completion of tasks
- Support the company's overall objectives and schedule
Requirements
- Confined Space Medium Risk (training may be available if required and time permits)
- Full UK driving licence
- Travel will be expected as required across the UK for varying periods
- 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
- Up to 7% pension contribution

Working Environment
This is a full-time site-based role covering the whole of the UK, primarily servicing industrial power plants. Energy from Waste is a key area of focus for our company.
Contract Type
This is a fixed-term contract with flexible working hours.
