Job Title: Insurance Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Advisor to join our team in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire. As an Insurance Advisor, you will play a key role in providing guidance and assistance to clients in selecting and managing insurance policies to suit their needs and mitigate risks.

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to build great relationships, and have experience working within an office-based Customer Service role. You will also have the ability to apply technical expertise to support colleagues and ensure optimal outcomes for clients.

This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm. The salary for this role is £25,000 per annum. Responsibilities:

  • Manage the technical administration of diverse insurance policies
  • Perform various tasks including administering new business, renewals and adjustments
  • Communicate with multiple parties, manage claims, resolve queries, and arrange premium financing
  • Apply technical expertise to support colleagues and ensure optimal outcomes for clients
  • Efficiently handle all business transactions while prioritizing client interests and maintaining communication with insurers
  • Proactively identify and capitalize on opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling insurance products to enhance client offerings
  • Address complaints in compliance with regulations and company policies, adhering to best practices
