About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organised individual to join our team as an Accounts Assistant Booking Clerk at our Tees Valley Hospital, based in Middlesbrough.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Finance Manager in all aspects of financial processes, liaising with the Business Administration Manager/Team Leader, completing financial reports, responding to requests for information, escalating issues, recording receipts and payments, posting cash to customer accounts, undertaking credit control, reviewing supplier invoices, preparing sales invoices, and administering petty cash and customer payments.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic patient accounting team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing of patients and insurance companies.

The ideal candidate will have excellent professional customer service skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
