Job Summary

Ramsay Health Care UK is a leading provider of independent hospital services in England, seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team at our Tees Valley Hospital in Middlesbrough.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support to our finance team, ensuring accurate and timely billing of patients and insurance companies.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting the Finance Manager in preparing financial reports, statements, and other documents;
  2. Liaising with the Business Administration Manager/Team Leader to coordinate patient billing and related activities;
  3. Preparing and processing financial transactions, including recording receipts and payments;
  4. Ensuring accurate and timely postings to customer accounts;
  5. Reviewing supplier invoices and preparing statements;
  6. Responding promptly to requests for information from patients and insurance companies;
  7. Escalating any identified issues to the Finance Manager;

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial principles, excellent organisational skills, and strong communication skills. Previous experience working in a hospital setting is preferred but not essential.
