Medical Office Coordinator

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Acklam Medical Centre. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare professionals.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be confident in your ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records, and provide high-quality customer service to patients and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage incoming patient queries and direct access to Social Prescriber and Mental Health teams, Patient Participation Group
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all Practice procedures and protocols
• Provide administrative support to the Practice team, including filing, faxing, and photocopying as required
• Cover reception positions as necessary
• Process appointment requests for today, future appointments from patients by telephone and in person
• Deal with visit requests
• Computer data entry and medical records management
• Confidentiality and adherence to strict confidentiality requirements
Salary Information:
The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential qualifications include GCSE Grades 3x A-C, with desirable qualifications including 5 x GCSE A-C including English and Maths. Previous experience in a related field (Hospital, Private provider or other GP Practice) is also essential.
