About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and exceptional administrative support specialist to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and proactive individual to provide comprehensive, effective, and professional PA administrative support to the Cancer Services senior management team.
Main Duties of the Job
- Provide secretarial support including clerical and information technology support to the Cancer Services management team.
- Administer electronic outlook diaries of members of the collaborative management team such as making appointments, and assembling the appropriate documents in preparation for meetings.
- Utilise excellent communication skills and responsibility for handling confidential and sensitive information and redirecting to the appropriate deputising manager using good judgment.
- Plan and manage own time effectively and work unsupervised on a daily basis.
- To process orders and invoices when required.
- Attend senior meetings, taking and distributing minutes as required. Co-ordinate agendas and invite personnel for discussion/presentation of projects.
- Develop and maintain effective communications at all levels throughout the service, Trust and with external trusts/agencies.
- Deal with general enquiries from members of staff, external bodies and members of the general public in a polite, professional manner and take messages as appropriate.
- Act as a host to visitors in the collaborative when required.
- Undertake any other relevant administrative tasks that may be required for the effective running of the service
Salary Information
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
