An exciting opportunity has arisen for a specialist in upper GI, GI NETs and renal cancer to join our friendly team of oncologists at The James Cook Cancer Institute in Teesside, North Yorkshire and County Durham.

This is a part new and part replacement post for consultants reducing their hours due to semi-retirement or other reasons. We welcome enquiries from candidates interested in alternative tumour sites, including lower GI and melanoma.

As a leading NHS trust, we offer a competitive salary range of £110,000 - £140,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including generous annual leave, pension scheme, and professional development opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess MRCP or equivalent General Medical qualification, General Oncology experience, and Site specialist training in urological, and colorectal malignancies. Management training and teaching and training experiences are also essential.
