We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Plant Pathologist to join our team at FERA Science Limited. As a key member of our plant pathology team, you will play a crucial role in conducting strategic research into the biology and control of diseases affecting agricultural, horticultural, and tree health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct efficacy testing and assist with work across the team's wider project portfolio.
  • Maintain cultures for routine experimental testing and help to clean and maintain routinely used facilities and equipment.
  • Work with plant pests and pathogens, and have excellent team working skills and the ability to maintain quality while performing repetitive tasks.
  • Experience in working to quality assurance standards and a strong interest in working in a laboratory following protocols and standard operating procedures.

  • Ability to commute or relocate to York, North Yorkshire.
