Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Worker to join our team at CrossReach. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality care for our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of care workers to deliver exceptional care services.
  • Work closely with the Service Manager to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of our service users.
  • Manage daily operations, including staff planning, medication processes, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide management cover when needed and maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
  • Contribute to health and safety initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • Relevant SVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with care management software.
  • Christian faith and commitment to upholding our Christian ethos.
  • Membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and SSSC registration.
