Job Summary

CrossReach is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Recovery Worker to join our team. As a key member of our recovery services, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to achieve their full potential and live a fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality support to service users, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Manage and supervise a team of support workers, ensuring they receive the necessary training and guidance to excel in their roles.
  • Assess and coordinate care plans, working closely with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support.
  • Act as a key worker, providing emotional support and guidance to service users, and advocating on their behalf when necessary.
  • Supervise staff, assist with recruitment, and ensure HR policies are followed, maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Support the Service Manager, contribute to health and safety processes, and maintain a supportive environment that promotes the well-being of all staff and service users.
  • Demonstrate Christian values by leading worship and incorporating prayer and Bible readings into staff meetings, promoting a sense of community and shared values.

Requirements

  • HNC in Social Care or SVQ Level 3, with additional qualifications like PDA Supervision and PDA Medication required.
  • Experience in care and basic computer skills are essential.
  • Ability to work within a Christian ethos, respecting the organization's values and principles.
  • Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) are mandatory.
