About the Role

CrossReach is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Care Worker to join our team at Cameron House. As a Night Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to older adults living with dementia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide wakeful night duty cover to ensure the needs of our service users are met with professionalism and empathy.
  • Act as a key worker for designated service users, managing care plans with input from relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist with personal and intimate care, supporting the use of aids and equipment.
  • Liaise with health professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Maintain a high standard of the physical environment and personal effects.
  • Monitor nutritional needs and respond to emergencies as required.
  • Participate in meetings as necessary to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • SVQ 3 in Social Care or willingness to achieve within a specified timeframe.
  • Basic computer literacy skills.
  • Ability to work on a rota basis, including weekends and evenings.
  • Compliance with health and safety, financial procedures, and ongoing training.
