About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our Paediatric Complex Care team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children with complex needs and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to children with complex needs, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, washing, and dressing.
  • Support children with their educational and social needs, including attending school and nursery.
  • Accompany children and their families to hospital appointments and outings.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to children and their families.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with children and/or community care.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and night shifts.
  • Ability to travel and work in a variety of settings.
  • Access to a car and a valid driving license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
