We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Industry Expertise Lead to join our team in the UK. This role will involve overseeing radiation transport and inventory calculations, shielding design, criticality safety, reactor physics, and radiation protection.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in the nuclear industry. You will be responsible for providing consultancy and leadership on cutting-edge issues and representing, interacting with, and leading international experts on current project challenges. Your key duties will include advising on and developing advanced computer-based models, overseeing complex calculations, assessing handling, movement, and transportation of radioactive materials, and producing high-quality technical documents.

Requirements
  • A degree in any relevant numerate scientific or engineering discipline
  • Extensive experience with an established reputation in the nuclear industry, including radiation physics and radiation transport modelling, with experience of shielding and/or criticality applications.
  • A track record in building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Estimated Salary:

£80,000 - £120,000 per annum
