Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team in the West Midlands region. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering budgeted sales targets by managing and developing existing customer accounts, actively prospecting, winning & opening new accounts.

You will have full responsibility for cross-selling and upselling to this account base, in addition to undertaking new business to add further clients. Most of your success in this role will be through effective menu planning and food costing at head chef or contract catering manager level.

About the Role
  • Report to the Senior Sales Manager to deliver budgeted sales targets in the West Midlands region.
  • Manage and develop existing customer accounts, actively prospecting, winning & opening new accounts.
  • Cross-sell and up-sell to this account base, in addition to undertaking new business to add further clients.
  • Work with customers to grow sales, looking at lost products, additional products to range/category, NPD, promotions.
About You
  • Possess sales experience working in foodservice / FMCG Sales.
  • Be able to work effectively with customers at head chef or contract catering manager level.
  • Have a strong understanding of the foodservice industry.

  • A competitive basic salary of £37,500 - £40,000 per annum.
