HR Advisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our dynamic team. As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our site's operational HR needs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement site people plan to enhance performance and drive business results.
  • Manage employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances, in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide day-to-day support to managers on employee relations, development, and reward, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Drive HR projects within budget and policy guidelines, focusing on operational change management and contract management.
  • Coordinate operational change management projects, including shift changes and restructures, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Ensure robust contract management processes are in place, maintaining compliance with legal requirements.
  • Foster effective communication across the site through regular coffee shop sessions and represent HR in daily Tier 2 operational meetings.
  • Uphold ethical standards and maintain accreditation, ensuring the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Support recruitment efforts to fill vacancies, working closely with the recruitment team to ensure a smooth hiring process.
Requirements:
  • Generalist HR experience covering all aspects of HR management, including employee relations, development, and reward.
  • Ideal CIPD qualification (Level 5) or working towards it, demonstrating a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Success in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, with excellent relationship-building skills and strong communication abilities.
  • Proficient in managing complex employee relations issues, with a strong understanding of UK employment legislation.
