Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement site people plan to enhance performance and drive business growth.
  • Manage employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances, in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide day-to-day support to managers on employee relations, development, and reward, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Drive HR projects within budget and policy guidelines, focusing on operational excellence and efficiency.
  • Coordinate operational change management projects, including shift changes and restructures, to minimize disruption and ensure a smooth transition.
  • Ensure robust contract management processes are in place, maintaining compliance with legal requirements.
  • Foster effective communication across the site through regular coffee shop sessions and other engagement initiatives.
  • Represent HR in daily Tier 2 operational meetings, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Uphold ethical standards and maintain accreditation, ensuring the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Support recruitment efforts to fill vacancies, working closely with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Generalist HR experience covering all aspects of HR management, including employee relations, development, and reward.
  • Ideal CIPD qualification (Level 5) or working towards it, demonstrating a strong foundation in HR principles and practices.
  • Success in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, with excellent relationship-building skills and strong communication abilities.
  • Proficient in managing complex employee relations issues, with a focus on resolution and conflict management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical HR information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Knowledge of UK employment legislation, ensuring compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
