We are seeking a dynamic individual to support activities at Burnley Library, working with volunteers to develop project ideas.

Main Responsibilities:

  • SUPPORT WEEKLY STEAM AND GAMING EVENTS AT BURNLEY LIBRARY
  • HELP PLAN AND SET UP ACTIVITIES PROMOTING SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, ART, AND MATHS
  • SUPPORT CHILDREN AND FAMILIES TO PLAY GAMES OR CREATE WITH LEGO
  • DEVISE AND HOST ACTIVITIES LIKE CODING OR SLIME MAKING FOR FAMILIES
  • CREATE DISPLAYS FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
  • HOST GROUPS FOR CHILDREN OR TEENS TO DISCUSS BOOKS
  • RUN SESSIONS CREATING BUBBLE BOTS, ARCADE GAMES, OR EXPERIMENTING WITH ELECTRONICS BLOCKS

Benefits:
