Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to support the education of children in our welcoming school in Burnley.
About the Role:
- Work with your preferred year group (EYFS to Year 6) and contribute to a supportive learning environment.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation, provide classroom support, and engage students in their learning.
- Deliver one-to-one or group interventions to help students overcome learning challenges.
- Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) requirements when necessary.
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification, such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Childcare, or equivalent.
- Experience working in a classroom setting, supporting teachers and pupils.
- Previous experience working with SEN/SEMH is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and organisational skills to effectively collaborate with teachers and students.

Compensation:
The estimated salary for this role is £18,000 - £22,000 per annum (dependent on experience), inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
