Job Description: Primary Learning Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team at Spencer Clarke Group in Burnley.

About the Job:

  • Support teachers with lesson planning and delivery, providing a positive impact on pupil outcomes.
  • Contribute to a supportive learning environment, engaging students in their learning and promoting social inclusion.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and organisational skills, ensuring seamless collaboration with teachers and students.
  • Prioritise student well-being, providing individualised support to those with SEN/SEMH requirements.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working in a classroom setting, supporting teachers and pupils.
  • Desirable: Previous experience working with SEN/SEMH students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
