Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Education Support Assistant to work on a full-time basis in a primary school setting. The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher to support the learning and development of children across Key Stage 1.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work 1-1 with children needing additional support.
- Full-time hours - 8.30-3.30.
- Provide pastoral support to children who may need extra help.
- Contribute to the creation of a safe and nurturing learning environment.
- Help to assess pupils' progress and keep accurate records.
- Support pupils with special educational needs.
- Flexible to work across different year groups.
- Role will include a lunchtime duty.
Requirements:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and a right to work in the UK.
