Job Description:

beBee Professionals in Burnley is seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with teachers and students to provide individualized support and help students with special educational needs overcome learning barriers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students during lessons, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist in the implementation of accommodations and modifications to ensure students have equal access to education.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are desirable.
