Learning Support Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support children with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) at a school near Burnley.
As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to students, helping them to reach their full potential.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized learning plans
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure effective communication and support
Requirements
- Relevant experience working with children with special needs
- Up-to-date safeguarding training (desirable but training can be provided)
- Able to commit to term-time only hours: 8:30am-3:15pm
- Minimum rate of pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
