Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a Year 6 class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons. This role requires someone with excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work collaboratively with the class teacher and support team. Key responsibilities include assisting with lesson preparation, supporting students with learning tasks, and providing additional support in literacy, numeracy, and SATs preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons to Year 6 pupils.
* Provide one-on-one and small group assistance to students, particularly in core subjects like English and Mathematics.
* Help prepare pupils for their end-of-year assessments (SATs), working on targeted revision and practice sessions.
* Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment that motivates students to reach their full potential.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, feeding back to the class teacher and contributing to the planning of future lessons.
* Assist in classroom management and ensure all students are engaged and on-task.

Requirements:
* Experience working with primary school-aged children, ideally in a Year 6 setting.
* A good understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation.
* Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the class teacher and support team.

Desirable Qualifications:
* Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
* Previous experience working in Year 6 or KS2.
* Knowledge of strategies for supporting students with different learning needs.
