SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in a school located near Burnley.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and possess a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification. The role involves providing individualized support to pupils, communicating with staff and parents, and contributing to a positive learning environment.
The Job Description- Deliver high-quality support to pupils with SEN, ensuring they receive tailored assistance to meet their needs
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, parents, and the SENCO to facilitate pupil progress and success
- Design and implement engaging learning activities that cater to diverse learning styles
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and promote a culture of excellence
- Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school setting
- Up-to-date Safeguarding certificate within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
The estimated salary for this position is £90 per day, depending on experience. Additionally, you will enjoy access to free accredited training courses, support with interview preparations, and a generous recommend a friend referral scheme.
