The Procurement Assistant role at Highbury Recruitment is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team. Below are the key responsibilities and requirements for the position.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Procurement to support and build on their procurement experience and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Support the procurement team with centralised administrative tasks, including booking meetings, transport, and deliveries.
- Resolve escalated invoice issues and queries.
- Create purchase orders and set up new vendors as required.
- Coordinate between the team and clients where applicable.
- Ensure all vendor information is accurately input on the system.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working in a Purchasing/Procurement Team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build key relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
- A good work ethic and a keen desire to progress.
- Experience in using systems and databases, with knowledge of Procore and Advantage (although not essential).
We are looking for a motivated and organised individual who is able to work effectively in a team and provide a first-class procurement service to stakeholders.
