Job Summary

Norfolk and Waverney ICB is seeking an experienced General Practice Nurse Development Lead Fellow to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work 5 sessions per week for 9 months, supporting the implementation of practice nursing clinical governance models and providing nursing input into new service procurement and bid development.

Main Duties

  • Support the primary care workforce managers and officers in planning and managing their projects effectively.
  • Take the lead in assisting in the successful delivery of projects.
  • Support the recruitment and workforce development plan of nursing staff.
  • Provide nursing input into new service procurement and bid development.
  • Coordinate and manage meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attend career and recruitment events and stakeholder events held by system partners.
  • Maintain constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support general practice nursing staff to undertake training to ensure a consistent approach to quality standards.
  • Support and provide guidance to locality-based Clinical Educator colleagues.

  • The successful candidate will be an appropriately qualified NMC Registered Nurse or Advanced Nurse Practitioner, working substantively within General Practice in Norfolk & Waveney.
