About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Operations Coordinator. This is a hands-on role that will involve coordinating the warehouse and transport logistics teams to ensure the efficient running of distribution and transport operations for Octopus Energy Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Warehouse and Transport operations teams to achieve a high level of service to our customers
  • Work in an environment that requires an overview of the operations, controlling the flow of work to achieve the best service and efficiency
  • Utilize analytical skills to work with spreadsheets and carry out high-level analysis
  • Coordinate pick wave releases and advise managers on resource allocation to achieve a smooth running operation
  • Be the main point of contact between the installation scheduling team, the distribution team, and our transport delivery partners to coordinate activities and achieve service goals
  • Ensure the operation maintains great quality and accuracy by coordinating stock checks and carrying out physical stock checks
  • Carry out periodic analysis of product storage positions and coordinate subsequent movements to provide the most efficient product layout
Requirements
  • Be comfortable with adopting and promoting the use of new technology
  • Be flexible to work and lead shifts allocated between 06:00 – 22:00 any day of the week
  • Focus on output, not input, and strive to make things better
  • Have tip-top organization skills and be obsessive about getting things right
  • Love working with people and be part of a diverse and dynamic team
  • Have previous warehouse or transport scheduling experience
  • Hold a full clean driving license
