About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facilities Assistant to join our team at SSE. As a key member of our Facilities Management team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality facilities services to our colleagues and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders, including colleagues and visitors.
  • Assist in the delivery of day-to-day facilities management services, including reception, administration, and maintenance tasks.
  • Work closely with the Facilities Managers to ensure effective customer service and dispute/conflict resolution.
  • Manage contractors and third-party service providers to ensure high-quality services are delivered.
  • Produce FM-related reports and assist with desk/staff moves, car park management, and administration of catering and hospitality services.
Requirements
  • IWFM level 3 minimum or equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of statutory and non-statutory maintenance tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Office 365.
  • Ability to identify, interrogate, and resolve problems.
  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative.
