Job Title: Facilities Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Coordinator to join our team at Hays PLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing our property portfolio across Scotland, with a focus on maintaining high standards of facilities management.

About the Role:

  • Oversee the daily operation of our property portfolio, ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and meet our high standards.
  • Respond to facilities and maintenance issues that may arise from tenants, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Manage the transition period for new properties, including change of company branding, building fit-out, and setup of offices from a maintenance standpoint.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve facilities management processes and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including property managers and maintenance teams, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facilities management, with a focus on property operations and maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external contractors.
  • Knowledge of fire, water, and general health and safety regulations, with a NEBOSH certification an advantage.
