Sleep Disorder Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Sleep Disorder Specialist to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our Respiratory Service, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients suffering from sleep disorders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all equipment involved in sleep diagnostics and CPAP clinics, ensuring excellent infection control procedures. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with sleep specialists to support adults suffering from potential sleep disorders.
- Perform clinical observations, take bloods, and set up new patients with domiciliary sleep studies.
- Review adult outpatients suffering from obstructive sleep apnea and assess their progress.
- Maintain and update the sleep database in conjunction with other team members.
