Sleep Disorder Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Sleep/CPAP Technician to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our Respiratory Service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with sleep disorders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting sleep diagnostics and CPAP clinics at our hospitals, ensuring excellent infection control procedures and effective communication with patients and healthcare teams.

Main Responsibilities- Conduct sleep diagnostics and CPAP clinics at our hospitals
- Manage equipment and ensure excellent infection control procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams
- Work collaboratively with sleep specialists to support patients with sleep disorders
- Review and assess patient progress, evaluating interventions and ensuring safe management
- Maintain and update the sleep database
- Participate in research projects
