Treasury Operations Manager

Synthomer is a leading global company in sustainable polymer solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury & Operations Manager to join our team in London, UK.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the European Treasury Operations Team, ensuring timely and accurate execution of Treasury Operations scope. This includes managing bank reconciliations, facilitating trade finance instruments, and processing payments through online banking systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage daily operations of European Treasury, including bank reconciliations, trade finance instruments, and payment processing.
- Collaborate with the head of the European shared service center to oversee the European Treasury Operations Team.
- Engage with the broader Treasury team on matters such as banking, foreign exchange risk, cash flow forecasting, trade finance, and transactional cash and banking operations.
- Develop strong operational banking relationships and manage European credit card program.
- Assist Group treasury in monthly treasury reporting, production of agreed KPIs, and monitoring of costs for the department.
- Participate in Treasury related projects driving process or system improvements.
- Over 6 years' experience within a Treasury environment, with experience of working and managing a team in a large multi-national organisation.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Fluent business English, with a second European language desirable.
- Able to take responsibility for team and own work and help the team where needed to achieve targets.
- Experience of building relationships internally and externally.
- Operational Import and export trade finance experience including CAD, CAA, documentary LC a plus.
