Treasury Operations Manager

Synthetic polymer solutions provider Synthomer is seeking a skilled Treasury Operations Manager to join their European team. As a key member of the Treasury Operations Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate execution of Treasury Operations scope, collaborating with the European shared service center, and engaging with the broader Treasury team on matters such as banking, foreign exchange risk, cash flow forecasting, trade finance, and transactional cash and banking operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the daily operations of European Treasury, including managing bank reconciliations, facilitating trade finance instruments, and processing payments through online banking systems.
- Consolidate group cash forecasting data, maintain collection packs, and assist in intercompany reconciliations and running data checks.
- Generate FX risk exposure reports, accounting, recording, confirmation, and settlement of trades, and reporting month-end positions and reconciliations of derivatives with ledger.
- Assist Group Treasury in monthly treasury reporting, production of agreed KPIs, and monitoring of costs for the department.
- Participate in Treasury-related projects driving process or system improvements, and assist in bank account management for the European business and regulatory reporting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Previous relevant experience in working within a cross-border Treasury team in the core areas.
- Fluent business English, with a second European language desirable.
- Able to take responsibility for team and own work, and help the team where needed to achieve targets.
