About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Supervisor to join our team at Rutherford Briant, a global organisation with a strong presence in the Essex/Herts border region. As a key member of our Treasury team, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 2, with opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Supervision: Lead and manage a team of 2 Treasury professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of Treasury operations.
  • Bank Reconciliations and Cash Management: Oversee the reconciliation of bank statements, cash allocation, and processing of payments, ensuring accurate and timely completion of general ledger entries.
  • Payment Processing and Treasury Operations: Coordinate the processing of payments within online banking platforms, including AP runs, payroll, and one-off payments, as well as daily treasury queries.
  • Internal and External Audit Support: Assist with all internal and external audit requests, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reporting for the balance sheet FX exposure, and assist in cash-flow forecasting and consolidation of European entities, identifying variances and areas for improvement.
  • Bank Administration and Regulatory Reporting: Provide support with bank administration and regulatory reporting, as required.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in managing a small team, with a strong background in Treasury operations and FX management.
  • Communication and Organisational Skills: Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Corporate Experience: Experience working in a large corporate or group business, with a strong understanding of Treasury operations and regulatory requirements.
